Hometown: Auckland, New Zealand
Daniel Logan is an actor from New Zealand most notable for his role as the young Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Daniel started acting at only 10 years old when scouted for a TV commercial, which led on to parts in Shortland Street and the hit international TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys starring Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless.
He got his big break at only 13 years old when cast as Boba Fett- the clone child of Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, Jango Fett. A great addition to the prequels for those wanting to see an origin story for that mysterious cult character from Empire and Jedi.
8 years later Daniel got a call from Lucasfilm asking him to come in to do voiceover work on Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated TV series. He went to thank series producer Dave Filoni but was told to direct his gratitude towards George Lucas, who had asked for Boba Fett to appear in the Clone Wars show with Daniel Logan reprising the role.
He continues to work in TV and Film, and has had roles in Sharknado 4: the 4th Awakens, Star Trek Continues and The Time War amongst other projects.
We’d love to see him on screen as Boba again, wouldn’t you? If the rumours of the Star Wars Underworld TV series are true, he could be back on screens soon as everyones favourite Bounty Hunter #MakeDanielLoganBobaFettAgain
We’re very happy to welcome Daniel to For the Love of Sci-Fi alongside Jeremy Bulloch - those with a Boba Fettish are in for treat this year!
